If you see a bluebird
Remember all your life
For the bluebird is a messenger
For a long and happy life

So if you see a bluebird
Remember all your days
You're a very special person
And will survive in many ways

Once you have seen a bluebird
A luckier man you'll be
The grass will seem much greener
Bluer will be the sea

For I have seen the bluebird
He sang for me his song
It gave an inner meaning to life
His secret to me belongs
