Spring

When winter seems so long to go
And weather sometimes hints of snow
March will suddenly shake her head
Enough is enough, time winter's dead

So overnight, one day you will find
March's promises have been kind
Crocus burst forth into bloom
Birds will sing dispersing gloom

Suddenly a lovely day
And despite the April showers
Around the corner merry May
Puts on her show of flowers
