The King

I dreamt I was a King last night
And owned all I surveyed
I woke up with a sudden fright
I was a wee dismayed

For no such things as in my dreams
Were there within my sight
No gold and silver, jewels and pearls
Shone bright for my delight

Then as I gazed around and saw
The footprint of a feline paw
I knew that I had everything
I didn't need to be a King
