Brandy

He doesn't know how he came to be
He spends each day alone with me
He thinks that I'm special, he lies at my feet
Sometimes I give him a bone for a treat

We don't ask for much, and money is scarce
He looks oh so tired as we're climbing the stairs
But we have each other and that's all that counts
You can keep all your gold and deposit accounts

He has four paws and a waggly tail
Which wiggles each day as he catches the mail
A would be intruder would shake with fright
If he should attempt to steal in the night

For my canine friend is so dear to me
Without him how lonely my own life would be
So here's to my Brandy, he is my best pal
I love him so dearly and I always shall
